A GUIDE TO BTS’S PERSONAL STYLE

Even if you don’t devote much of your time to social media and the internet, you must have at least once come across K-pop and BTS. BTS (Bangtan Sonyeodan) also known as the Bangtan boys is a seven-member South Korean boy band. They are easily the biggest most successful hip hop groups in South Korea. They have rapidly gained a huge fanbase outside South Korea and now have become international celebrities.
Apart from their music and extravagant music videos BTS members are super well-known for their style. Each member of the band has their own unique personal style and it keeps evolving with time.
Here we will be talking about each band member’s personal style and some out of the world fashion looks they served.
JIN
Starting with the oldest member of the group, Kim Seok-jin. Jin’s style can be described as very clean sophisticated, and put-together. He cleverly manages to mix and match casual items and make them work perfectly. Jin does not get scared to experiment with more feminine colors like pink and can be seen sporting the color often. He prefers clothes with simple elegant designs that accentuate his features and when going for a casual look he is mostly seen sporting over sized hoodies and sweatshirt
Anyone who wants to look elegant in using casual pieces can take references from Jin’s looks.






SUGA
Suga’s style is influenced by streetwear. He likes to keep it casual and goes with a muted color palette. He is often seen sporting black monochromatic looks but he sure does know how to break the monochrome and add a hint of different neutral hues to his outfits. He is a fan of flannel with emphasis on soft textures. He can always be seen accessorizing his looks with bags, shoes, beanies, and tennis hats.
Suga doesn’t always go for muted tones there are times when he adds a quirky pop of color to his outfits for a fresh look.
So if you’re into street/hipster styles take notes from him.







J-HOPE
The key to J-Hope’s style is his ability to sport unconventional pieces. J-hope’s fashion vibe is eccentric and experimental just like his personality, his wardrobe features mostly bold and colorful pieces that generally we wouldn’t pair together. Hobi is found rocking street-wear brands and is not afraid to show off his legs wearing shorts. He is one of the most experimental band members and knows to to rock unconventional styles.
If you would love to step out of your comfort zone and try clothes that are unconventional J-Hope is the one to take inspiration from.








RM
RM has the most multi-faceted fashion sense of all the members, his style has evolved over years and his current style is a mixture of all those phases. RM’s style combines street-wear, boho fashion and some softer looks. He is seen rocking the denim on denim look multiple times.
RM does a fantastic job with putting various pieces together to make a unique look.






JIMIN
Jimin’s fashion shouts cool and chic. Jimin’s signature look is a loosely fitted shirt tucked into tight pants, one of the most effortlessly casual look. He frequently accessorizes with square framed sunglasses or an edgy jacket.
While most of jimin’s wardrobe consists of casual pieces he tends to up-cycle his causal looks by accessorizing with jewelry like rings and earrings.





V (TAEHYUNG)
V’s wardrobe can be summed up in one word- GUCCI. The whole vibe of his fashion would be comfort meets high-end fashion. V’s love for the Italian brand can easily be seen through his wardrobe. The only member who is always head to toe dressed up in high-end brands.
V likes different flowy patterns for shirts and always accessorizes his outfits with bags, berets, belts and ties. Though he doesn’t opt for jewelry for his everyday looks he can be seen experimenting the most with jewels for his red carpet looks.
For more casual looks V opts for loose sweatshirts, slacks high neck sweaters with long coats. V’s style can definitely be describes as artistic and expressive just like his personality.










JUNGKOOK
Jungkook’s style can be described as practical and laid-back. Often seen in black and white t-shirts and jeans Jungkook’s style has become predictable. through the years he has tried to add few colors to his outfits but more of less he tends to follow the masculine laid-back vibe.
